Dave De Carlo Adds Editorial Colour for KBS and Gaviscon

The folks at KBS and Gaviscon want people to get to know the blue Gaviscon guy a little better. To help with that mission, editor Dave De Carlo teamed up with Frank director Craig Brownrigg to bring the typecast blue Gaviscon guy to life. This cute spot features him on a date, taking in nature’s beauty, driving a car and hanging out at home. We think he’s kinda endearing.

This DDB Canada/Dairy Farmers of Canada campaign follow-up features another fun spoof of an 80’s-style beer commercial. Directed by Soft Citizen duo Aircastle, the tongue-in-cheek spot was cut by Paul Proulx whose edit provides some beautifully-timed moments of beer-inspired celebration.

Ice AwardsCongratulations to Marc Langley, Target and Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism for their Best of Show win at the ICE Awards. “Crayons” was directed by Sparks Productions’ Paul Santana. Target took home three Golds and three Craft Awards as well as Best of Show, altogether earning 21 awards for “Crayons”, involving executions in other platforms related to the campaign, and work for Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism.
