Dave De Carlo Adds Editorial Colour for KBS and Gaviscon

The folks at KBS and Gaviscon want people to get to know the blue Gaviscon guy a little better. To help with that mission, editor Dave De Carlo teamed up with Frank director Craig Brownrigg to bring the typecast blue Gaviscon guy to life. This cute spot features him on a date, taking in nature’s beauty, driving a car and hanging out at home. We think he’s kinda endearing.

Dave De Carlo edits moving short film for BBDO Toronto and Mercedes-Benz Canada

Dave De Carlo recently collaborated with Revolver Films’ talented young director Mark Bone on an incredibly moving short film for BBDO Toronto and Mercedes-Benz Canada. The agency commissioned Toronto-based queer artist Thomarya “Tee” Fergus to create a mural that was inspired by conversations with people from the LGBTQ2 community who have experienced hate speech, bullying and discrimination. Based on their stories, Fergus created a mural she hopes will encourage healing.

The film, which launched during Pride Week 2017, documents some of the people behind the recently-unveiled mural that sends a message of love and inclusivity to passers-by in Toronto, while the corresponding digital campaign takes a stand against abuse and hate speech on a national scale.
