At last Thursday’s Advertising & Design Club of Canada Award show, Rooster Editors Dave De Carlo’s and Mick Griffin’s editorial work was singled out in the Advertising Broadcast Craft categories.
Mick’s work on behalf of Lowe Roche for The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada titled “The Last 10”, for Creatives Sean, JP, Simon, and producer Sandy Cole, was singled out. Directors were Ben & Joe Dempsey for 2013 ADCC “Scarlet Letter Award” winning Production Company OPC/Family Style.
Dave De Carlo’s work entitled “The Art of Saying Goodbye ‘George'” on behalf of UNION for Mount Pleasant Group got the nod for Editing too. Director was Hubert Davis from Untitled Films. Creatives were Sean, Lance, Pedro and David. Producer was Kevin Saffer.
Rooster Editor Paul Jutras’s work on behalf of Volkswagen Canada and Red Urban took home three Silvers for “Butcher” Directed by Jean-Michel Ravon. “Cabin” & “Rear Seats” were directed by Jason Smith.
Other work Rooster was involved with that was singled out was: Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America for 2013 ADCC’s Agency of the Year GREY. Budweiser Red Lights for Anomaly. JWT’s campaign for Canadian Film Festival. Target’s work for Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism. DDB Canada/Toronto’s Manulife.
Our “Calendar of Large Cocks” also saw a Merit in the Graphic Design category.
